OHS POLICIES
Our OHS is to ensure and protect workplace health and safety, prevent work accidents and occupational diseases by taking necessary measures within the framework of occupational health and safety legislation, and establish occupational health and safety committees; to adhere strictly to the regulations made for this purpose, and to act responsibly in accordance with the procedures and conditions that apply to each party's responsibilities, to fulfill their responsibilities fully and without deficiencies in a timely manner as expected of them in these matters.Personnel are obliged to use occupational safety equipment related to their job and comply with occupational safety rules. The issues that personnel are obliged to comply with in terms of occupational safety are as follows.
To exercise utmost care to ensure that their behavior and actions do not adversely affect their own and others health and safety, and to perform their duties in accordance with the training and instructions provided by the employer. In case they encounter any situation where they believe there is a serious and immediate danger to health and safety in the workplace, or if they notice any deficiency in protective measures, they must immediately inform the employer or the health and safety worker representative.
To use all safety equipment provided to them properly during work, To avoid any negligence and carelessness that may pose a danger to themselves or their colleagues during work, To read and implement the circulars, regulations, and announcements related to occupational safety and workers health that are provided by the employer, the manager of the workplace or occupational safety committee,
Argento Textile is aware of being family with its employees by continuously improving its occupational health and safety management system to ensure that the yarns they produce are manufactured in accordance with international criteria, current legislation, specifications, and standards within the specified time frame.
For this reason;
- To provide ergonomic, healthy, and safe work environments by conducting risk assessments to reduce and eliminate the risk of work accidents and occupational diseases in the workplace.,
- To ensure the participation of employees (and representatives if any) and gather their opinions for making improvements in Occupational Health and Safety matters, as well as planning and providing training needs for employee awareness.,
- To ensure the selection of high-quality materials and equipment that are appropriate for human health and safety.,
- To evaluate each previous year and make improvements for the following years, planning and implementing these improvements,
